What is the Formula to Creating the Perfect Title for your article ?




Did you know that 8 out of 10 people read a title but only 2 out of 10 read the rest? The title is the most important element of an article because it determines the click rate and influences the behavior of your readers about the possible continuation of your article.

This does not mean that your title should be more optimized and that little relation to the content. Similarly, you should avoid it is too generic. In fact, there is a set of best practices to create a title that converts. And this is what I suggest you (re) discover with the infographic below edited by QuickSprout. Mention may in particular be aware of the following six tips:

  1. Choose a short title. Indeed, the maximum number of characters displayed in the SERPs is around 65 characters. Beyond this limit, your text is cut off. This must be about 6 words.
  2. Speak directly to your readers using the words "you" or "your" to create a personal connection.
  3. Use interesting adjectives like "unique", "essential" and so on. that give context to your title, while making it attractive.
  4. Recourez a language that uses the words "negative" (no, no, stop, etc..) To play on insecurities.
  5. Include numbers as is the case of items in lists that are generally appreciated by readers.
  6. Personalize your title by adding an extra element that generates such curiosity.
