Twitter Tests a New Design Profiles with a Inédit Display RSS Tweets

The microblogging platform Twitter is experimenting with a new design of the profile of its users. The most important change concerns the display of tweets rather than a single central column but two columns if I refer to the screenshot below. This thread has more visual and great tweets whose width is automatically adjusted according to the published content and the size of the column. It should be noted the presence of what appears to be a second stream is "Tweets and replies."

Design side, the new profile is reminiscent of a mixture of Facebook, Pinterest and Google Plus. The upper part has a cover photo that occupies the entire width. The profile picture and bio are displayed on the left. Tabs "tweets", "subscriptions" and "subscribers" are present below the cover picture in a horizontal bar that also hosts the "favorites" and "lists" and a brand new "pictures / videos" tab. The size of the cover photo goes from 1252 x 656 pixels 1500 x 500 pixels, with a maximum weight of 5 MB

Questions: Do you think this redesign can attract new users? Are you for or against the new display tweets in the stream?
