The list below is short, but the tools presented will help you easily analyze your pages, your backlinks, or other important points for your position. I use them often, and even if you do find one or two of them, they could help you.
Analyze internal and external links on a page
http://www.infowebmaster.fr/outils/analyse-liens.php
This small super convenient tool allows you to list a glance:
- Internal links that point to one of your pages
- Links that your page send outward
Very useful to avoid out the big guns when you need timely information. I use it quite often, because even Google Webmaster Tools does not provide such information as simple and clear.
Analyze the internal duplicate or broken links
http://www.siteliner.com/
Another cool tool that I use occasionally for:
- Identify broken links on a page (left column "broken links" )
- Identify portions of duplicated text of a page to another on the same site.
Again, it is easy to use and I love the super practical side which notably allows to visualize easily the points mentioned. You will also find other options.
Examples:
![]() |
| Highlighting the duplicate between the homepage and detail page article on the blog of Matt Cutts |
I love how this tool displays information about a web page.
It rather indicates how well an engine with which it displays.
Much information is detailed in the right column (size of title, the meta description, structure title tags, etc..) Very useful for a quick inspection.
I also used http://www.seo-browser.com/ depending on my mood.
Detect the noindex and nofollow surfing
This essential Firefox extension!
She sometimes allowed me not to have me at obtaining links, or avoid big mistake by launching a website and forget the noindex.
I leave it always on. Seerobots you constantly displays some articles of a page, especially if it is in or has a noindex nofollow directive overall.
If the page contains a directive x-robots-tag in the HTTP header, a click on the word [Click] will allow you to search this side, and this can be very useful because some SEO tricksters can hide things.
It is also for Chrome, but I personally never use that cookie.
In hunting, nofollow and more
If this extension allows you to view many things about a page and a website I use quite often especially to identify very quickly the nofollow links.
Simply check the "Highlight Nofollow Links" line in the menu and you will often see life in pink as nofollow links will be identified by the color on the page you visit.
Same as Seerobots, the extension is also available for Chrome.
conclusion
I hope these tools will save you some time. If you have other practical tools in mind, do not hesitate to share.
FYI, I do not know when comments will be validated because I go one week on site to check if the keywords "Marie-Galante, Rod, Father Labat, Small Earth" are nice for SEO. I tell you later. Do not break the internet in my absence.
So I'll see you here on March 2 with an article in my wildest dreams would change things on Google ...
